My Biography
Luke Burkholder is a seasoned firearms instructor with a robust background that includes over 496 hours of formal training across 34 specialized courses, with a significant focus on instructor development. With ten years of service as a Combat Engineer and Military Police officer in the Kansas National Guard, Luke has cultivated a deep understanding of tactical operations and firearms proficiency.
Since becoming a full-time law enforcement officer in the Kansas City metropolitan area in 2020, he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in public safety and community engagement. Luke's experience in law enforcement is complemented by his passion for competitive shooting, where he has participated in USPSA, IDPA, and various action shooting disciplines, achieving Master Class status in two IDPA divisions, and A class in USPSA limited Optics.
As an instructor, Luke is dedicated to sharing knowledge and fostering a safe, supportive environment for all students. He focuses on building fundamental skills, enhancing marksmanship, and promoting responsible firearm handling. Through a blend of real-world experience and competitive insights, Luke aims to inspire confidence and competence in every individual he trains, regardless of their background or level of experience.
