What You'll Learn
This class covers the training Kansas requires to get a concealed carry permit. It consists of 6.5 hours in the classroom and 1.5 hours on the range. (price includes a free lunch)
We will have a shooting simulator available to use during class to give students extra training and exposure not found in other concealed carry class.
This covers the following topics required by the state of Kansas.
- BASIC INTRODUCTION TO HANDGUNS, SAFE HANDLING AND STORAGE OF FIREARMS -FIREARM CARE AND MAINTENANCE -LEGAL ISSUES RELATING TO THE USE OF DEADLY FORCE -USE OF DEADLY FORCE – PREPAREDNESS FOR CONFRONTATIONS -FIREARM MANIPULATION, MARKSMANSHIP AND PRACTICE -RANGE QUALIFICATION
The minimum amount of ammo required is 50. If time allows, we will shoot a few extra drills. If you would like to participate in that, bring an extra 50-100 rounds.
This class is at a private classroom in Edgerton Ks; It in southern Johnson County.
There are firearms available to rent at the range if you don’t have one. If you don't have eye and ear protection, they are available at the range to buy for a few dollars.
The class is scheduled for 9 am to 6 pm. With an hour lunch break. The classroom is located in Edgerton. We will start the day off in the classroom, at the end of the day we will transition over to a local range for the shooting portion.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 2 week in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
