Thirty-five years of law enforcement has made it clear that while the death or serious injury of a loved one (or ones self) may well be the worst day of your life, a close second would be the day you are arrested and criminally prosecuted. You need an advocate on your side and such representation is prohibitively expensive for many citizens. Without the confidence inspired by the training and wise counsel of the USCCA, as well as the financial support available if needed, I would likely leave my personal protection firearm at home in the safe.
The training videos are excellent and provide me with skills to make me a better marksman. The magazine provides excellent reviews of equipment and tools to improve my skills. The insurance coverage provides peace of mind if I ever should need to protect my family.
I have been very pleased with the USCCA organization as a whole. They provide helpful information and vital protection which I believe every responsible gun-carrying citizen needs.

In the short time I’ve been a member of USCCA, right at 5years, the knowledge, the addition of training information, the details of equipment such as weapons, how to dress, ammo, home and everyday lifestyle choices, have been invaluable to me. With the insight I’ve received, I’ve moved from casual to everyday carrying. Without the magazines, the videos I can only say a lot of money would’ve been wasted on unnecessary stuff.
