I'm a Navy Veteran (Gunners Mate), and worked as an armed security officer for 20+ years. I learned pistol and rifle marksmanship as a sailor, and qualified with my duty security officer handgun 2-3 times a year. Because I was comfortable around many types of firearms, and often traveled into less than desirable areas, I decided to get my CCW permit here in Delaware. I've been a responsibly armed American for several years now, and because of my training, I've never had to use my gun for self-defense.

Too much going on in the world right now that is why I started my membership with USCCA I'M a heavy haul truck driver otr and I have a female codriver and I just wanted the assurance that nothing will happen when we are on the road now

I have owned a gun for most of my life for protection of my family. I have always been concerned with what would happen if I ever had to use it. When I saw what USCCA had to offer, as a well rounded organization, I knew I had found full relief from the what if.

I carry a gun because I am too old to survive an ass kicking. I joined USCCA solely for the attorney protection from Delta defense if I have to use my gun. I am confident in my ability to successfully defend myself on the street but I'll need all the help I can get after that.
