My Biography
Bruce Illum is a Master Educator with over 35 years experience. He has been a firearms instructor for over 20 years. His credentials include a Masters of Science Degree in Chemistry Teaching from the University of Utah. Bachelor’s Degree from Weber state in Physical Science and Mathematics. His firearms instructor credentials include -Utah Hunter Education -Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Instructor. -USCCA Training Counselor and Instructor for Concealed Carry and Home Defense, endoresements for Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense. Countering the Mass Shooter. -NRA Training Counselor and certified instructor in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Muzzle Loading Firearms, NRA CCW, NRA Personal Protection Inside and Outside the Home, Home Firearm Safety and Chief Range Safety Officer.
Bruce is also a BSA National Camp School Shooting Sports Director, has worked at several summer camps. He has been a shooting sports Section director at the BSA National Camping School and has served on staff at several Nation Camp School courses.
He enjoys helping and mentoring others to enjoy the shooting sports in a safe and family friendly environment. From hunting, target shooting, self-defense or just improving your marksmanship. Bruce is your man.
