Our CWP training course is unlike any you will see around here. We are not a CWP factory. We do not rush through training instead; we train to standards not to time! You will receive more than just classroom instruction. You will leave here feeling confident about your knowledge and your ability to safely carry your concealed weapon. If you are looking for a place to just rubber stamp your CWP than this is not your place to train or learn. This CWP Course meets and exceeds educational requirements to apply for a South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit. A 50-question written multiple-choice exam will be given at the end of the class and a 50-round qualification course will be conducted on the range. Upon successfully completing this course, you will have all the required forms and information on fingerprint for applying for a Concealed Weapons Permit in the State of South Carolina. You will also receive a course completion certificate as proof of training .

This is a beginner’s level course and the foundation for your handgun training. We do not rush through training. We train to standards not to time! You will receive more than just classroom instruction. You will leave here feeling more confident about your knowledge and your ability to safely shoot a hand gun. In addition, you will receive a course completion certificate as proof of training.

This is a mini beginner’s level course and the foundation for your handgun training. We do not rush through training. We train to standards not to time! You will receive more than just classroom instruction. You will leave here feeling more confident about your knowledge and your ability to safely shoot a hand gun.

This is a two in one course. You will learn Basic Life Support Provider CPR/AED skills in accordance with the curriculum of American Heart Association and then be introduced to USCCA Emergency First Aid Fundamentals Building Your Own Emergency First Aid Kit. In addition when you successfully complete the course, you will receive an AHA BLS Provider card that is good for two years and a USCCA mini course completion certificate as proof of training.

This Course is designed to create a safe space for women to understand handguns and how to use them.

This Women’s Base Pistol Course is the first in a three-part series, covering the USCCA Women's Handgun and Self Defense content, developed by Beth Alcazar. In this basic introduction course, you will learn about guns and the basics of handgun safety. You then will learn the basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. You may also learn some of the emotions you may have when learning how to shoot. The course is rounded out by taking those basics and putting them into practice first in the classroom with dry fire and then onto the shooting range.

This course will act as a building block for you to progress to the second part of the series Women’s Intermediate Pistol.

In addition, you will receive a course completion certificate as proof of training.

Lesson Plan Purse: Pursuant to SC Code of Laws Section 23-31-215. To teach the basic knowledge.skills, and attitude necessary for owning, carrying, and using a pistol safely and legally. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

1. Understand information on the statutory and case law of this State relating to handguns and to the use of deadly force.
2. Understand information on handgun use and safety
3. Understand information on the proper storage practice for handguns, with an emphasis on storage practices that reduce the possibility of accidental injury to a child.
4. Understand how to properly secure a firearm in a holster.
5. Understand ‘cocked and locked’ carrying of a firearm. 6. Understand how to respond to a person who attempts to take your firearm from your holster.
6. Understand and apply de-escalation techniques and strategies.
7. There is a 50 question written test and 25 round live range qualification test. You need to have a 70% passing score on both

This is a follow up course to the SC SLED Sponsored CWP Course which is a very basic course. We will cover developing a personal and home protection plan, situational awareness, color codes, how a permit to carry fits in Chapter 1. We will go over in more detail the Legal Use of Force in Chapter 4 and Violent Encounter and their aftermath in Chapter 5 which deals with the Mentally, Physically and Legally. Lastly Basic and Advance Skills Chapter we will cover creating a training program, dry fire and fundamental drill. Lastly, we will then take that information out to the range to show you/teach you those skills in order for you to become a better/more accurate shooter.
