Glen Whitner

I have been married for over 23 years and am the father of 6 children. I am a 24-year Veteran of the U.S. Army, the Founder of Family Defense Firearms and The Director of Training at "Sendero Shooting Sports" in Belton, Texas.
I firmly believe in our God given American right to keep and bear arms.  It is the duty of all honest Patriots to seek out, and develop the skills needed to protect ourselves and loved ones from the predatory criminals that walk the streets of America. Attitude is everything in an emotional and violent confrontation.  If trained correctly you will do what you were trained to do, and what you practice to do.  At The Gun Range, we stress the need for constant functional training.  It is not enough to just go to a class and receive some instruction every year you must practice, Practice, PRACTICE!
