"Donnell was a wealth of technical, practical, and experiential knowledge! He brought a blend of the seriousness of gun safety and a laid back disposition that said its okay to be learning and new. The small class size made the experience very personal and afforded our instructor an opportunity to give us one on one suggestions during range time and interactive class activities such as clearing a weapon. The outdoor range experience was my favorite part of the day. Donnell's professionalism and expertise made me feel great about the decision to be a responsible firearm owner. He even sent us home with homework we could do in the comfort of our living rooms with a cleared/unloaded firearm for more practice handling and understanding components. I'm looking forward to working with him in the future! "

"As a beginner I was looking to get educated and this class was an excellent experience! Everything was explained clearly with no assumptions of having any prior knowledge. Donnell focused on basic safety rules and emphasize practicing responsible behavior. It was easy to understand and not overwhelming. There were diagrams, slides, and his demonstrations. As a visual person that was really helpful. I felt included and encouraged to ask questions. I would and have recommended this course to anyone who is completely new and wants a safety-focused introduction."

"I took Donnell’s virtual firearm class and honestly had a great experience. The course was informative, engaging, and surprisingly interactive in the best way. I came in with very minimal experience with firearms. I had only been to a firing range once as a kid and did not grow up around people who owned or used guns. This class really helped me build a solid foundation and actually understand the basics instead of feeling intimidated by them. By the end, I felt confident about taking the next step and going to a range without feeling like an outsider, and with a real understanding of how to move through that space respectfully and safely. Donnell is the kind of instructor who makes you feel comfortable asking any question, no matter how basic or advanced it might be. Nothing feels silly or brushed off. He explains things clearly and meets you where you are, which made a huge difference for me. You can tell this is something he truly cares about and has a lot of knowledge and passion for. I would recommend this course to anyone, whether you are brand new and just curious about firearms or you already have experience and want to sharpen your skills and understanding. It is a great starting point and a great refresher all at once."
