Corena Gerena

As a mother of two young ones (4 and 6), wife, and business owner, I bring a holistic approach to firearm education. With a background as an IKF champion and Coach in Muay Thai, I blend physical skill and mental discipline into my role as a firearms instructor. Being a Certificated Personal Trainer and Strength Coach, I am deeply committed to helping individuals strengthen their bodies and discipline their mind. In addition, I am a Certified Knife survival instructor under Mike Lee Kanarek, founder of Haganah System.

My journey is one of continual growth, and I actively pursue ongoing training as a coach and refine my skills alongside my husband and business partner, Coach Jose Fernandez. He is the Head Instructor of Black Lotus Gym and the Director of Harder to Kill Training Group.

Together, we create an environment that goes beyond traditional firearm education, fostering confidence, resilience, and a sense of community. I'm passionate about helping others, especially fellow women and moms, find empowerment through education and training to develop the skills to safeguard what matters most!
