Coach Jose is a USCCA Training Counselor, USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, and Certified Range Safety Officer. His instructional philosophy is built on safety, responsibility, and real-world preparedness.

Coach Jose focuses on safe firearm handling, practical self-defense skills, situational awareness, defensive decision-making, and complete personal protection strategies. As a USCCA Training Counselor, he also mentors and certifies new instructors, helping them develop the knowledge, confidence, and professionalism needed to teach responsibly.

He continues to grow as both a student and instructor by training alongside law enforcement professionals, military personnel, experienced defensive shooters, and competitive marksmen. His background in martial arts, firearms instruction, and personal defense allows him to bring a practical, well-rounded approach to every class.

Most importantly, Coach Jose’s role as a husband and father shapes the way he teaches. He is committed to creating safe, respectful, and welcoming learning environments where students can build confidence, competence, and the ability to protect themselves and their loved ones responsibly.
