Types of Concealed Carry Licensure/Permitting Policies

Since there is no federal statutory law concerning the issuance of concealed carry permits, each state has passed concealed carry laws setting the authority by which permits/licenses are issued. They are described as Unrestricted, Shall Issue, May Issue and Non-Issue.
