My Biography

Steve Hendricks is an Instructor Development Specialist with the USCCA and a nationally respected firearms and defensive tactics professional with more than 45 years of real-world and instructional experience. A veteran Range Master and certified defensive tactics instructor, Steve has trained and mentored thousands of instructors and armed professionals across the country. His background includes service as a Sheriff’s Deputy, Protective Security Specialist with the U.S. Embassy High Threat Protection Detail in Afghanistan, lead instructor for Firearms Instructor Certification with the U.S. Department of Energy, and adjunct instructor at the renowned Gunsite Academy. Known for his engaging presentation style and practical, experience-driven approach, Steve delivers clear, actionable instruction that elevates instructor performance, safety standards, and defensive readiness.

Putting the e-learning to live fire you get a better understanding of the total curriculum and what it is built to do for a end user having taken the class as a end user the class will open your eyes and mindset to survive a defensive attack encounter. The instructors did an exceptional job on the delivery and execution of the curriculum I would advise any instructor that wants to take this curriculum go in with an open mind you will not regret it. "
