Michael Seeklander

Mike Seeklander serves as the Director of Training at Delta Defense, LLC and is co-owner of the American Warrior Society. With decades of experience spanning military service, federal and local law enforcement, and world-class competition shooting, Mike is widely respected as one of the industry’s leading firearms instructors.

A U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran of Desert Storm/Shield, Mike served as an Intelligence Specialist with Top Secret clearance and later as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor. His federal career includes serving as Branch Chief and Lead Firearms Instructor for the Federal Air Marshal Service and as a Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC). He has also served at the local level in corrections, patrol, and organized crime.

Mike previously led the development of comprehensive training programs as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Training at the U.S. Shooting Academy. He is a former co-host of The Best Defense on the Outdoor Channel and has authored numerous instructional books and training materials focused on both foundational and advanced firearms skills.

A nationally ranked competitive shooter, Mike is a multiple-time world and national champion, including 2019 IDPA World Champion, 2018 IDPA National Champion, and 2011 Steel Challenge World Champion. He has earned numerous titles across USPSA and IDPA competitions nationwide.

In addition to his firearms expertise, Mike holds a Black Belt in Okinawan Freestyle Karate and continues to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His passion for training, performance, and continuous improvement drives his mission to help responsibly armed Americans build skill, confidence, and preparedness.
