Building a Home Defense Plan Class
A firearm is only one part of protecting your home. This course teaches you how to develop a practical, well-thought-out home defense plan focused on safety, preparation, and decision-making.
Topics include home security considerations, safe room planning, communication with family members, emergency response, defensive mindset, interacting with law enforcement after an incident, and the legal and ethical responsibilities of defending yourself and your loved ones.
Whether you own a firearm or are simply looking to improve your family's emergency preparedness, this course will help you build a personalized plan so you can respond with confidence instead of panic when seconds matter.

Developing a Personal Plan & Home Protection Plan
Developing a personal & home protection plan is a key component of not only preparing for how we should (or might) react if confronted by a violent crime, but also how we might avoid violent crime in the first place. Within this lesson, Michael Martin explains that developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up a home invasion plan. It’s a plan that must encompass awareness, avoidance, and preparation, so that we’re less likely to find ourselves in a situation where we have no other option than to use our firearm, rather than more likely.
