This class introduces children (ages 5-18) to essential firearm accident prevention, safety basics, and situational awareness in a safe, age-appropriate environment. Students will learn the importance of the 4 Rules of Gun Safety for children, what to do if they encounter a firearm, situational awareness, and how to recognize and respond to potentially unsafe situations. The class focuses on building confidence, awareness, responsibility, and respect through hands-on discussion and interactive learning activities. Children will not be handling any real or replica firearms in this class.

At least one Parent must stay on site the entire class. Parent's are free and do not need to register.

This class introduces children (ages 8-18) to the fundamentals of safe and responsible firearm handling and marksmanship in a controlled, beginner-friendly environment. Students will learn proper stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, and breath control while developing confidence, discipline, and safe firearm habits. Through guided instruction and interactive training exercises, children will build a strong foundation in shooting fundamentals while emphasizing safety, focus, and responsible decision-making. Children will not be shooting any real or replica firearms in this class. However, they will be handling a training replica.

Students must have taken the Family Safety Day class as a prerequisite to this class.

This class gives children (ages 8-18) the opportunity to practice safe firearm handling and shooting skills using advanced simulated training technology in a fun, controlled, and beginner-friendly environment. Students will reinforce firearm safety rules while developing shooting fundamentals, target engagement, focus, coordination, and confidence through interactive drills and age-appropriate simulation exercises. The class emphasizes safety, responsibility, discipline, and positive skill development every step of the way. Children will not be shooting any real firearms in this class. However, they will be handling and shooting laser training replica firearms in this class.

Students must have taken the Family Safety Day and the Children's Fundamentals class as a prerequisite to this class.

Virginia Concealed Carry Handgun Certification Course

Whether you're purchasing your first handgun or taking the next step toward carrying responsibly, this course provides the knowledge and training needed to build a strong foundation for safe and lawful concealed carry.

Taught by a USCCA Certified Instructor, this class covers essential firearm safety, Virginia concealed carry laws, conflict avoidance, situational awareness, defensive firearm fundamentals, and the responsibilities that come with carrying a concealed handgun.

Students will also receive hands-on training using our state-of-the-art laser firearms simulator, allowing them to safely practice marksmanship fundamentals, decision-making, and firearm handling in realistic scenarios without the cost, noise, or recoil of live ammunition.

Upon successful completion, students will receive documentation meeting Virginia's handgun competency requirement for a Concealed Handgun Permit, in accordance with applicable Virginia law.

**This class meets the State of Virginia requirements to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit which does not require LIVE FIRE to be permitted. **

Concealed Carry Judgmental Training

This instructor-led training session uses our advanced Judgmental Training Software (JTS) to place concealed carry permit holders into realistic, interactive scenarios that require critical thinking and sound decision-making under pressure. Students will encounter situations that may involve potential threats, unknown contacts, and rapidly changing circumstances. The focus is not simply on marksmanship, but on situational awareness, threat assessment, communication, de-escalation, decision-making, and understanding when the appropriate response may be to shoot—or not shoot.

Using safe, laser-based training technology (no live fire), participants gain valuable experience applying their concealed carry knowledge in a controlled environment without the risks and expense of live ammunition.

Prerequisite: Valid Concealed Handgun Permit. (Must present card to instructor before class can begin).

Note: Some of these scenarios can be triggering based on some less than ideal outcomes. Students will be required to sign a waiver before class can begin.

Building a Home Defense Plan Class

A firearm is only one part of protecting your home. This course teaches you how to develop a practical, well-thought-out home defense plan focused on safety, preparation, and decision-making.

Topics include home security considerations, safe room planning, communication with family members, emergency response, defensive mindset, interacting with law enforcement after an incident, and the legal and ethical responsibilities of defending yourself and your loved ones.

Practical Defensive Shooting Practice

Take your defensive shooting skills beyond standing still on the firing line. This hands-on training session uses our advanced simulated laser range to practice realistic defensive shooting techniques in a safe, controlled environment.

Students will work through drills designed to improve movement, positioning, and decision-making, including shooting from cover, pieing (peeking) around corners, moving backward while engaging threats, shooting from kneeling and seated positions, and even engaging targets while lying on your back or other unconventional positions.
