What You'll Learn
This class introduces children (ages 8-18) to essential firearm accident prevention, safety basics, and situational awareness in a safe, age-appropriate environment. Students will learn the importance of the 4 Rules of Gun Safety for children, what to do if they encounter a firearm, situational awareness, and how to recognize and respond to potentially unsafe situations. The class focuses on building confidence, awareness, responsibility, and respect through hands-on discussion and interactive learning activities. Children will not be handling any real or replica firearms in this class. Parents are encouraged to stay, cost is per youth student.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Accident Prevention & Safety Basics
This children-focused lesson covers the important aspects of being cautious and safe in any environment, whether firearms are present or not. Participants will also learn the four rules to be safe around guns.
