My Biography

I'm Ben Griffin, founder of Steady Ground Training LLC. After recognizing that many concealed carry courses offered little to no live fire training, I founded Steady Ground Training LLC to provide students with hands on classroom and range instruction. My goal is to ensure every attendee leaves with the practical knowledge, safe shooting fundamentals, and confidence to safely own, carry, and use a firearm.

I am a USCCA Certified and NRA Certified Instructor with over 25 years of firearm experience. My passion for safety began during my time serving as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. Those experiences have strengthened my commitment to helping others, responsibility, and service; values that I bring into every class I teach. In my free time, I enjoy off-roading in my Jeep, spending time with my family, and hunting.
