If you own a gun or thinking about owning a gun, this class is a must. So many people have guns in their home thinking it is a tool to keep them safe. Without the proper knowledge and understanding of your guns and the defense of yourself and family can cause major concerns mentally and financially. This class will give you the information to understand what happens after you defend yourself and your family. What the process may be that will affect you and your family. This course also provides situational awareness and steps to where you avoid possible threats.

Handgun 101 is a course designed to familiarize yourself with your handgun. This includes discussing handgun safety, handgun and ammo characteristics, the mechanical parts of your handgun, cleaning and maintenance, and storage. We will learn the shooting fundamentals, stance, grip and aiming. We will discuss gadgets and holsters. Students will leave all ammo and magazines in their vehicle or at the range desk. This class is perfect for those who purchased new firearms or looking to purchase their first firearm. In addition to the course fee, students will be required to pay a $19.99 range fee. Gun rental and ammo will be additional cost if required.

This class is the next level - intermediate level - course for drawing your firearm. You must have an intermediate to advanced level of handgun use to register for this course. This course is to provide you guidance and practice steps to be able to draw at 1 sec or less. We will also instruct admin and tactical reloading to decrease your loading time. must have concealed or open carry holster and 2 magazines. We will meet at the Fairfield Inn Burleson parking lot and then go to the outdoor range.

This course introduces the definition for Deadly Force and non-lethal force. We will look at scenarios and discuss the actions that should and should not be taken. We will talk about the aftermath of using force and what to expect when first responders show up at the scene. Especially how to communicate with 911 and with witnesses and the police.

This is the Texas License to Carry certification course that is required by the State of Texas. At the end of the course and a passing written and proficiency test with your firearm, you will be able to complete the remaining criteria to obtain your Texas license to carry a handgun.

Handgun 101 FUNdamentals course is for those who are learning about handguns. This course instructs safety, use of handguns, types of ammo, handgun fundamentals to include stance, grip and finger control. We will discuss situational awareness when carrying a handgun. We will then go to the range and shoot a mock LTC course to shoot a basic handgun drill. We will evaluate and make suggestions for correction and give you steps to improve on when you practice going forward. You will need to have your handgun, semi or revolver, and 50 rounds. This is a fun course and designed to improve you desire to shoot your handgun at the range.

(This course is open to anyone in Texas who is proficient with their firearm and can legally own a firearm) Disregard the date and time of course. This is am open course and you can start and stop the course at any time)

This is the online Texas LTC course. At the completion of this course, you will receive an email from USCCA with your Texas Form LTC-101/LTC-104. This course takes 4-6 hours to complete and can be stopped and started at any time. You still will need to complete the Pistol Safety and Shooting proficiency prior to submitting your forms to RSD Texas. ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR LTC-104, THEN REGISTER FOR THE 2 HOUR SAFETY PROFICIENCY COURSE AND WE WILL SCHEDULE WITH YOU THE DATE AND TIME.

This class specifically addresses the challenges and potential threats that houses of worship face — and helps you learn how to recognize danger, build a security plan and identify weak points at your facility in order to mitigate overall risk to your congregation.

Once you completed a LTC Online course and have your LTC-104 form. Register for this course to complete your requirements for the state so you can file for your license.

Do you have your LTC-104 and need the shooting proficiency? This class completes the 1-2 hour in classroom training requirements for the Texas LTC requirements when completing the Texas Online LTC course. This course includes firearm safety, range safety, and the course of fire. The course will complete itself with the Texas LTC firing proficiency at the range.

Situational Awareness is about what happens around you that you know or do not know. This course demonstrates and teaches us how to be more aware of our surroundings and how to use all your senses to to be aware of possible dangers around us plus actions we can take that will make us less of a target to be a victim. We dive into Homeland's Security's Blue Campaign and discuss human trafficking and how to be aware of the signs and behaviors of those trafficking and being trafficked.

Completion of this course will allow you to instruct USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense course to new students. This is a steppingstone to other USCCA courses and to attend and be certified as a Texas License to Carry Instructor by the Texas DPS. This is a 2-day course to learn how to instruct the CCHDF course and to instruct others in the use of firearms. As a USCCA Training Counselor, I will also provide you information to set you up with your website, classes, and any other questions you may have to hit the ground running. Today's world we can be aware of our defense or oblivious to our defense. Being aware of our defense is not about being paranoid, but having the knowledge and skills to make the right or best decision for our safety. This course is revolutionary, as we will provide you knowledge to make those decisions, but also provide the skills through simulations using laser Shot Indicating Resetting Trigger training pistols and a large video media that allows the student to depict their actions based on the simulations. We will also train in the class to show the training needed to draw and make that shot if needed. We have many different simulations that will have several different outcomes that simulate our normal routines.

Women are rocking it when it comes to providing their own defense. With women purchasing more firearms than ever, it provides a great opportunity to come together and train together. Over 80% of our students are women, and most are first time shooters. This course is driven for just women, because face it, women are natural shooters and also learn differently then men. In my opinion, women learn more and more fun to instruct. You do not need to own a firearm for this course. We will let you use ours, you only need to add $25 for the 50 rounds of ammo. This course with your very own training book as well.

This course provides Real Estate Agents information and Defensive skills when performing their job responsibilities such as:

• Identify job-related activities that put agents at risk of an attack.
• Situational Awareness: Learn the finer points of tuning into your environment and avoid a potentially violent encounter.
• Learn cell phone safety features and apps that can be used to keep you SAFE!
• Legal Use-of-Force: What criteria must be met before you can use reasonable or deadly force - and the consequences that may follow.
• Defensive Options: Armed, Unarmed, and Less Lethal.

This course is 2 hours long and is a great for office training.

Are you prepared to provide yourself lifesaving first aid? This course is about applying first aid to yourself and others around you in a critical incident where time is life or death. This course takes you through patient assessment, using MARCH and ABC/CBA's, and traumatic emergencies including Stop the Bleed and using tourniquets, blood clotting bandages, and chest seals. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a CAT 7 tourniquet and a USCCA Emergency First Aid Certificate.

Most of believe we will do the right thing if there is a time for us to defend ourselves or others around us. This course proves your ability to do just that, de-escalate, fight or flight, what comes next. This course uses USCCA scenarios to put you through reality based confrontations se we improve your defense. Bring your EDC holster, and we will provide a SIRT (Shot Indicated Resetting Trigger) training pistol and you can draw shoot if required. If you do not own a handgun and want to go through the scenarios without a firearm, come to the course. We will discuss what we did right and what we did wrong so we can learn how to be better!

This course is to complete a Protector Academy course range certification. Once you have completed your online course materials, you can register for this course to schedule an USCCA Instructor to complete your range portion of the course. This class is all about stabilizing the wounded until medical help arrives. In a mass casualty situation, you may have to assist to save people's lives. This class includes the USCCA First Aid Fundamentals Training Book a $35 value.

We will discuss the triage system to include color codes and how to determine the trauma level. This course also provides the skills to control major bleeding such as gun shots, and other penetration wounds, wounds where objects are protruding out the victim. This class is all about stabilizing the wounded until medical help arrives. In a mass casualty situation, you may have to assist to save people's lives. Students will learn the START Triage System and participate in a mock triage exercise where they will be given the opportunity to properly triage 10 victims of a mass shooting. We will also discuss controlling severe bleeding with tourniquets, hemostatic bandages, and regular bandages. Using these in a mass casualty scenario.

This course is designed to help victims of major bleeding and other traumatic injuries until first responders arrive. This is an interactive course where you will apply what you are taught in various scenarios. You will learn about hemostatic bandages, tourniquets, pressure bandages and various other bandages in stopping major bleeding. You will also learn about other traumatic injuries like flailed chest and broken ribs, puncture wounds, compound fractures and loss of extremities. We will run scenarios to practice sizing up the scene, primary and secondary assessments and how to address compensated and decompensated shock.

Understanding the human body after severe stress is important part of being able to defend yourself. This course goes through the stresses and how to mitigate your body's responses, both physically and mentally. Join us for this free class to the public, gaining knowledge to protect yourself and your family.

This course completes the safety and shooting proficiency to complete your LTC-104 form to send to Texas RSD to gain your Texas LTC license. You must be proficient and capable to safely fire your hand gun to complete this course. You will be shooting the Texas LTC course of fire.

This course allows you to set up range time with the instructor and does not follow the date and time on the course. Call the instructor to set date and time.

Disasters do not wait for the perfect scenario for your family to happen. This course provides you the tools which includes everyone in your family to design and test a disaster plan based on your current risks for disasters. We will provide you the steps to set a plan in place which you and your family can work together. We often leave disaster plans or security plans to one person or to the adults, including everyone provides stability and quicker reaction when limited time to react is of concern. The cost includes the household adults, so only one person per household need to register.
