My Biography
Ted is a certified Training Counselor and Instructor for the USCCA. He believes and embraces the USCCA's mission to provide the best training instructors and curriculum so all Americans can defend themselves, their families and the community. His experience also derives from the US Navy, where he was the Range Safety Officer and Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor. He has instructed over 2000 students without incident in the use of revolver, semi-auto's, shotgun, and rifle. He has CQC experience and defensive shooting fundamentals.
Ted believes the best defense is not being in a situation in the first place, and being the best witness. His Situational Awareness course is the start of your defensive training path. If he can provide you the insight and skills to give you seconds to escape, the training is well worth it. He also understands the importance of knowing what happens before, during and after a defensive situation. He knows how to you will react physically and emotionally so you will understand the stress you will be under, thus you can learn to train with those reactions. He understands that the License to Carry is just that, just carrying a handgun. That to use your handgun in a stressful situation is very different and which most people will not react properly in a defensive situation.
