Led by the female co-owner of Manchester Firing Line, this seminar explores topics that are specific to the woman experience in relation to firearms and more. After years of observing women’s decisions regarding firearms, she has amassed a wealth of valuable insights to share. You’ll learn the basics of firearm safety, range etiquette and so much more. She’ll guide you through the critical factors to consider when choosing to own a firearm as well as provide insights into common pitfalls to avoid. Your learning experience will be both informative and practical.

Course overview: The course combines clinical training with information about resources. The training is based on lessons learned by the U.S. Department of Defense during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. How to recognize life-threatening bleeding How to stop life-threatening bleeding Getting STOP THE BLEED® ready STOP THE BLEED® resources The STOP THE BLEED® Project is a public/private partnership led by the DoD and many other stakeholders designed to develop programs that will create more awareness of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign and encourage the public to participate in the campaign by becoming STOP THE BLEED® trained and equipped and engaging others to do so. There are currently active STOP THE BLEED® training programs in every U.S. state and territory and in 114 countries.

The STOP THE BLEED® campaign is administered by the Defense Health Agency and the Combat Casualty Care Research Program. All uses of the STOP THE BLEED® name and logo are licensed to ensure that all bleeding control training programs and all products that display the STB logo meet DoD quality standards.

This Iron Rose night is designed to equip participants with the dynamic leadership skills and response strategies needed to safely navigate and survive an active shooter situation. Focusing on proactive preparedness and live fire drills to hone our skills.

This Clinic moves beyond the basics of shooting to help the student develop a more advanced and tactical skill set. This clinic is not an intro class. Students should have already had some instruction from a Certified Firearms Instructor, like our Personal Protection in the Home class. A Review of Firearm Safety

This covers the basics of gun safety and range etiquette. This will also cover the proper way to draw a handgun from a holster PLEASE wear a belt, the stronger the better), bring your holster if you have one (strong-side hip is preferred). Holsters will be provided at no charge if you do not have one. Handgun Administration We will cover drawing /re-holstering, reloading and malfunction clearing as our handgun administration skills. We will also fine tune your grip, stance, sight picture and trigger control. Students should bring 2 magazines for their semi-auto or two speed loaders for their revolver, if you have them. Proficiency Drills We all will shoot some standard drills for you to assess your general shooting proficiency. These are drills you can practice on your own, to measure your progress. Scenarios

Many of the Personal Protection students request more opportunities to run through the scenario usually run with Personal Protection class. We will have at least two scenarios setup with reactive targets for you to shoot.

Iron Rose Course Night: Qualification Experience YOU WILL LEAVE with personal feedback on how to become a better shooter! This is not a competition-it’s an opportunity to challenge yourself and see firsthand what professional qualification standards look like! Join us for an exciting and educational evening as we introduce the new Iron Rose Qualification Course of Fire (COF) : our official standard for members to experience and improve their shooting skills. You’ll also have the chance to shoot the New Hampshire State Police qualification, giving you real insight into the level of accuracy and consistency required by law enforcement. And depending on what time allows, we can attempt both the NRA and USCCA Instructor Qualification courses. You might be surprised to see how you stack up, but no matter your score, you’ll receive expert coaching and feedback to help you leave a more confident, capable shooter. Women’s Self-Defense Safety Event: From Defense to Offense Step into your confidence and take control of your personal safety at this dynamic, hands-on women’s event. Designed to empower, educate, and equip, this experience goes beyond awareness and gives you real tools you can use in everyday life. Hosted at Manchester Firing Line, this collaborative event brings together Iron Rose Women’s Shooting Club™ and A Girl & A Gun® Southern NH & Central NH Chapters for an afternoon of practical training, mindset development, and skill-building. The event begins with The Mindset Weapon by Iron Rose Women's Shooting Club Founder, TerryAnn Bowen, where you’ll learn how awareness, decision-making, and confidence are your first and most powerful tools in self-defense. Next, Developing Your Personal and Home Protection Plan by USCCA. We will walk you through creating a clear, actionable strategy tailored to your lifestyle so you can protect yourself and your home with confidence. You’ll then participate in the A Girl & A Gun® Pepper Spray Clinic presented by Chapter Facilitator Kathleen Graham, a hands-on demonstration focused on proper use, handling, and real-world application in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you’re brand new or looking to sharpen your skills, this event is designed to meet you where you are and elevate your readiness.
