My Biography
Thomas Brown is a Senior Tactical Firearms Instructor with the New Hampshire Tactical Arts Group, a Lethal Force Instructor for New Hampshire, a Massachusetts State Firearms Instructor, an NRA Law Enforcement Instructor, a LEOSA Instructor, USCCA Instructor, a Force-on-force Law Enforcement Instructor, Patrol Rifle Instructor, a defensive knife Instructor and a Chief Range Safety Officer. His training includes courses from Lethal Force Institute, Defense Training International, Calibre Press, Combative Concepts, Personal Security Institute, Sig Academy (LE Instructor) and Simunitions. Thomas Brown has also appeared in court as an expert witness in the areas of firearms, safety and training, and is a Graduate of the Law of Self Defense Instructor Program. He is a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI) and the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors & Armorers Association (MLEFIAA). This class fulfils the MA Training requirements in order to apply for a Resident or Non-Resident LTC
Basic Pistol class for new shooters or those getting back into shooting. This course covers:
- Firearm Safety and legal/proper storage
- Proper shooting fundamentals
- Handgun selection (rentals available for those without handguns)
- Laws for local states regarding buying/transporting/possession of firearms. A great class to take with family members!
This free seminar presents basic knowledge and information for the new gun owner. It will cover basic firearm safety, securing your firearm when not in use, the lawful transportation thru New Hampshire and adjoining states. It will also cover proper range etiquette for shooting at Manchester Firing Line and local gun clubs.
Practical Handgun Clinic - LOW LIGHT TRAINING The Clinic covers proper use of you Handheld or mounted weapon light. Moving in the low light, using cover effectively, shooting on the move.
Students need a handgun and a flashlight or weapon mounted light. Handgun rentals and ammo are available. Prerequisites: Students should have taken a Basic Pistol Class or equivalent and have experience using a holster.
CCW's Role in an Active Shooter Situation This class covers options and variables for armed individuals who finds themselves in or near an Active Shooter event. Classroom portion on Friday night and shooting portion on Sunday morning.
Practical Handgun Clinic This version of the PHC is focusing on Movement and use of Cover.
Prerequisites are a Basic Pistol class or equivalent
Rentals, ammo and holsters available for students
This clinic is all range time working with your tactical rifle for a realistic urban environment. We will cover sight adjustment, calculating offset, safety administration, moving and shooting, team tactics and communication. Optics and slings recommended but not required.
Academy level Defensive class.
Live-fire Clinic focusing on USCCA DDP curriculum for malfunction clearing and single hand shooting
Approved class to MA LTC
Obtain your MA training certificate for your resident or non-resident License To Carry (LTC) with this class. Instructed by our Master Firearms Instructor and Expert Witness Thomas Brown, with over 25 years' experience teaching this class.
Use your own firearm or rent from us (rental + ammo fee) or we'll provide a .22 firearm and ammo free of charge.
