This is a Free Class of situational awareness, home defense course for those who work with children as educators, school staff, bus drivers, kitchen staff, tutors, and club leaders who work with the youth.
Developing a personal & home protection plan is a key component of not only preparing for how we should (or might) react if confronted by a violent crime, but also how we might avoid violent crime in the first place. Within this lesson, Michael Martin explains that developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up a home invasion plan. It’s a plan that must encompass awareness, avoidance, and preparation, so that we’re less likely to find ourselves in a situation where we have no other option than to use our firearm, rather than more likely.
This course will be a class designed for children and their parents on how to be safe in their surroundings.
This course will instruct youth on how to recognize and avoid dangerous situations. It will, also, set up discussions for creating a family plan on how to avoid trouble at school or in daily activities.
This course will not include any firearms nor mock ups of a firearm.
This course is intended to have an honest conversation with children and their parents regarding personal safety and situational awareness.
