My home range is Antelope County Shooters Club just south of Neligh, NE. They will allow non-members to shoot there with a $10/day guest range fee to be paid by the student when they arrive at the range. Successful completion of this class meets the requirements established by Nebraska State Patrol to apply for a Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP). On Day 1 we cover the Nebraska state laws pertaining to lawful concealed carry as well as best practices for handgun care, use, and safety, situational awareness, conflict avoidance and de-escalation, and mental health. Day 2 will be a live fire qualification to demonstrate proficiency in drawing from cover and accurate shot placement. Range time will be scheduled in groups of 5 at a time, with each group spending only one hour at the range.

REQUIRED for live fire qualification: Eye and ear protection Handgun and 100 rounds of ammunition OUTSIDE the waistband holster Sturdy belt Cover garment that opens in the front, preferably with pockets. (no pullovers)

We will cover the applicable Nebraska state laws and regulations regarding permitless concealed carry, conflict avoidance and de-escalation, the legal use of force continuum, and deadly encounters and their aftermath.

The USCCA’s AR-15 Fundamentals Training Classes are practical! This is not like the high-intensity, high-speed, fad AR-15 training you see on social media. These rifle training classes are actually focused on and effective for civilian use. The goal isn’t to train you like you’re part of an elite tactical unit, rather, this training provides instruction that builds a strong foundation for real-world self-defense regardless of experience level.

This course is excellent both for the casual AR-15 owner who bought their rifle but doesn't have many rounds through it, as well as the experienced AR-15 owner who wishes to become a better defender with their rifle. EVERYONE will walk away with better AR-15 skills, no matter your current experience level.

NOTE This class is SPECIFICALLY for the AR-15 platform. ONLY AR-15 style rifles/carbines/SBR's will be allowed. AR-15 pistol calibre carbines are welcome. NO RIMFIRE RIFLES OR CONVERSION KITS ARE ALLOWED

The Intro to Handguns class will build a foundation of handgun knowledge for shooters with little to no pervious handgun experience. We will discuss proper safe handling techniques, proper grip, stance, and aiming techniques, and also offer a hands-on look at different types of handguns and ammunition, and discuss pros and cons for each one. Students will walk out armed with knowledge essential to finding and choosing their first (or next) handgun; safely manipulating a handgun to clear, load, and unload; and proper firing techniques for marksmanship and self-defense.

Students are encouraged to schedule shooting lessons to apply what they learn in this class.

It's no secret that real estate agents sometimes have to venture into places and deal with people that make them feel unsafe. This course will give you some best practices to help mitigate risk, both perceived and actual, and get you home safely.

THIS CLASS DOES NOT INVOLVE SHOOTING

The Defending Your Castle - Home Defense Fundamentals class is designed to specifically address self-defense while in your home. Topics include understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness, handgun, rifle, and shotgun basics, the legal characteristics of using deadly force, and the aftermath of a defensive firearm use.

This course was designed BY a woman, FOR women, but the instructor is a MAN. I want to make that perfectly clear up front.

Whether you have never touched a firearm in your life and want to start "from the ground up," you've been shooting a few times but have never taken a formal class, you're ready to become your own first responder, or any other reason, this course has been tailored for YOU. There are endless reasons why you may want to take this course, and all of them are meaningful and significant. We welcome women of ANY experience level (including NO previous handgun experience) and ANY background to come learn with us in a safe, professional, and responsible environment.

This is a 3-part course. We will meet once a month for 3 months, for a 3 hour class. Each night we will start at 7pm, please plan on arriving 15 minutes early. There is also a trip to the firing range each month to apply what you've learned. You do not need to bring your firearm/ammo with you to the classroom portion. We will schedule range time to be done at a later date while we are in class each time, we try to schedule range time that for the Sunday following the class date.

If you do not have your own handgun yet, contact us about arranging to provide one for you.

We must have at least 5 students registered by 7 days out from the class date, or we will need to cancel the course.
