What you’ll learn:

This course is a blend of classroom and practical on-the-range instruction in which you’ll learn:

· Basic firearm safety rules and safe gun handling

· The parts and operations of semi-automatic pistols and revolvers

· The fundamentals of shooting: grip, stance, aiming, sight alignment, trigger control, and follow-through

· Ammunition types and selection

· How to choose a firearm that fits you—you might be surprised at what you’re most comfortable with!

· Numerous tips for situational awareness, avoiding conflict, and personal protection

During this course we will discuss the aftermath and legal aspects of using a gun in self-defense. We will also shoot the Level 1 Qualification for the USCCA Protector Academy.

This is a 2 day option for those who are unable to commit to a full day of class. This is the class required for the Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit. This is one of the courses approved by the state of Louisiana to teach the LA Concealed Handgun Course. Louisiana approved USCCA instructors in 2021 and this course prepares you to teach students using the Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals Course from USCCA.

This course helps you better understand and use your AR15 for self defense. We help you understand how the rifle works, maintenance, and ultimately engage the threat. This course is shot entirely from the standing shooting position and each drill builds on the previous. With ammunition so expensive don't just go the range with no plan, come learn some valuable drills that will better prepare you to use America's most popular sporting rifle for self defense.

Most violent attacks hoccur at double arms length distance and are over in under 5 seconds. This Class will teach you the steps necessary to get your gun in the fight quickly using what the body does naturally in response to the stimuli of being attacked.

Gain an understanding of the usefulness an AR-15 provides for civilian defense while receiving cutting-edge AR-15 training through in-person classroom learning and range training.

Louisiana will soon become a constitutional carry or permit-less carry state allowing individuals 18 and older who are otherwise allowed to be in possession of a gun to carry a handgun concealed without a permit. While you may legally carry a concealed handgun it is critical that you are abreast of the laws as to where you can, and more importantly where you can’t carry, and the laws for self-defense. In this class we will cover Louisiana Law and will have a practical exercise on how to disassemble, clean, and assemble your gun along with a shooting exercise at the range. Class length is 5 hours and water, coffee and targets will be supplied. Sign up for this class and be a responsible and educated gun owner.
