My Biography

USCCA Certified Instructor in Concealed Carry & Home Defense, Children's Firearms and Safety Fundamentals, Emengecy First Aid Fundamentals, Women's Handgun and Self Defense Fundamentals, Countering The Mass Shooter Threat, and Marksmanship Simplified Foundations of Handgun Coaching. I am a Certified Range Safety Officer and Certified Florida CCW License Instructor

I have 30 years of firearms experience both as a hunter and firearms enthusiast. Over the years I have continued to increase my firearms knowledge through taking courses from several experienced instructors. I have enjoyed participating in firearms competitions including 3 gun, IDPA, and USPCA. I have been an airline pilot for the past 30 years and have had the opportunity to be trained and deputized as a Federal Flight Deck Officer. I enjoy teaching the safe handling and operations of firearms. I am dedicated to teaching individuals interested in protecting their lives with defensive training and knowing the laws.

his class focuses on the individuals that would like to learn how to safely handle and carry a handgun. The course focuses on those who are interested in carry a firearm for self-defense. You will learn the Florida laws that pertain to conceal carrying a gun. When you safely completion this course you will be able to apply for a Florida Concealed Carry Permit.

This course will discuss firearms safety with children of all ages. It is for both parents and children who would like to learn the safe handling and have a positive introduction to firearms. It will discuss age appropriate firearms activities.

This course teaches the basic fundamental of conceal carrying of a handgun. You will learn proper grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control. This course will focus on defensive shooting vs marksmanship. You will learn how to safely draw and re-holster your handgun from concealment.

They took all the time necessary with each one of us to help guide us and show us the techniques and best practices for drawing from a holster.
