This is the USCCA Women's Level 1, Basic and Women's Level 2, Intermediate class combined. Women's Level 3 Defensive Pistol is also available as a separate 6 hour course.

You also get to enjoy 3.5 to 4 hrs. of awesomely informative class time before we head to the range for an hour. There you will be introduced to the public range setting and range etiquette. Class size minimum is 3 students. Our class GREATLY EXCEEDS the State Of Florida's training requirements for your concealed carry license. Don't skimp on training that could save your life, your loved ones lives and your family's future just to save a few dollars. Florida License allows you to carry in 37 states.

This class is your next logical step after completing your basic firearm or CCW class. Knowing how to access your firearm and get it into action is imperative if you plan on surviving a violent encounter. We will learn the traditional 5 step draw stroke while exploring and discussing the various firing and ready positions within it. We'll move on to the 3 stroke defensive shooting draw stroke going from the holster directly to the full extension firing position. We will learn lateral and rearward retreating movements along with the proper draw strokes while retreating facing away and backing up. Emergency reloads will be performed throughout the entire class. All of this is conducted while performing multiple drills on various targets making this a fun worthwhile learning experience.

This class includes both the e-learning and in person sessions. You will demonstrate proficiency on the physical requirements and live fire at a private venue and private range.

WEAPON RETENTION AND BACKUP WEAPONS

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL FLORIDIANS. Now that you can legally carry a concealed weapon with or without a permit, it's a good time to learn how to hang on to that thing

FIREARM RETENTION Learn how to reduce your risk while carrying a firearm in public areas. We will teach you techniques to defeat attempts to disarm you by grabbing you or your weapon and taking it from you. Attacks from the front, back, and sides will be covered. You will learn how to defend your weapon and retain possession of it whether it is holstered or drawn. You'll also learn about secondary/back-up weapons and how to effectively use them to assist with retaining your primary defense. If you carry a handgun you must know how to maintain possession and control of it. You're fighting for your life, not just the gun.

Bring your own holster and a training gun if you have them. We have several if you don't. No live firearms are allowed in the training room. NO EXCEPTIONS

Please wear mat shoes, socks, or go barefoot as outside footwear is not permitted on the mat.
