What You'll Learn

Completion of this course will allow you to instruct USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense course to new students. This is a steppingstone to other USCCA courses and to attend and be certified as a Texas License to Carry Instructor by the Texas DPS. This is a 2-day course to learn how to instruct the CCHDF course and to instruct others in the use of firearms. As a USCCA Training Counselor, I will also provide you information to set you up with your website, classes, and any other questions you may have to hit the ground running. Being a USCCA Instructor is an awesome responsibility to our growing community. We take pride in what we do and how we teach the community. Prerequisites for this course is taking the USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense eLearning course. If you have questions, please call me and I will be glad to assist you. 817-797-8244

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

What We'll Teach

Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals - Certified Instructor

Upon successfully completing this course, you will become a USCCA Certified Instructor uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.

This course has become the nation’s leading curriculum for law-abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. When it comes to firearms fundamentals and concealed carry and home defense concepts, you will provide your students with high-quality material and help them understand the ‘why’ behind training concepts.

Class Preparation: You must complete the corresponding online learning course. (Automatically sent to you upon registering for the class.)

Day 1: you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics including:

  • Top ten instructor mistakes and how to avoid them
  • Teaching best practices
  • Running a safe live fire range

Day 2: You’ll have a chance to:

  • Demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers
  • Run a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire

By combining the knowledge of the USCCA and your passion for training more responsibly armed Americans, you can be assured that you’ve found the instructor certification for you.
