What You'll Learn

Only sign up for this course if you only need to perform the Texas LTC Proficiency Demonstration portion of the Texas LTC Course.

This course is for students who have completed the Texas License to Carry online class or the classroom portion of the Texas LTC course with a certified Texas DPS LTC instructor and simply need to meet the handgun proficiency demonstration requirements to complete your LTC-104 form.

Successful completion of this Texas LTC Proficiency Demonstration will allow you to complete your application for a your Texas License To Carry (LTC) Permit. This is just the Shooting Proficiency Qualification portion of your LTC requirements

This course will provide:

• B27 Proficiency Demonstration Qualification Target • Endorsed LTC104 Course Completion Form

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

What We'll Teach

Texas Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals

In this course you will learn about the main topics pertaining to the carrying of handguns in the state of Texas. The overall objective of this course is to educate students on the responsibilities and laws applicable to handgun license holders. Before attending the in-person class, you must complete the assigned eLearning accessible through your USCCA dashboard.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor

1) Students will be responsible for paying a $21.00 Range Fee. 2) This IS NOT a handgun shooting course. Students should have previous shooting experience. Please familiarize yourself with your firearm before attending this course. DO NOT sign up for this course if you have no previous safety or shooting experience with a handgun. 3) While the live fire portion requires only 50 rounds, please bring at least 100 rounds (or more) of SAMMI standardized ammunition. Only Ball, Full Metal Jacket ammunition is allowed.
