Ty Delley

Throughout my career, I’ve had a variety of experiences from 20 years at a management consulting firm to my more recent experiences as an entrepreneur and consultant. While the diversity of these environments is significant, there is one commonality…I am passionate about helping others.

I grew up on a farm in southeast Nebraska and have been shooting all types of firearms since I was a kid. I spent Sunday afternoons with my dad at his “fast draw” pistol competitions and many weekends shooting trap with family and friends. In 2008, I chose to move beyond “sport shooting” and into the world of firearms for self-defense. I have had my License to Carry for the past 15 years and have regular “shooting dates” with my husband as we’re both passionate about personal and home protection.

Upon our family’s move to Texas from Nebraska in 2018, I have encountered many individuals who are interested in firearms, yet they are not sure where to begin or are intimidated by the thought of taking a class from the “experts”. My approach in firearms instruction is to provide an open, transparent environment where individuals have the opportunity to start at the very basics to gain confidence and proficiency with firearms. Teaching the fundamentals of firearms allows me to share my interest in firearms while helping others gain the knowledge, experience, and confidence to protect themselves and those they love.
