Not sure which handgun is right for you? This beginner-friendly class helps new and experienced shooters safely test common carry handguns before making a purchase.

Under the guidance of a USCCA-Certified Firearms Instructor, students will handle and fire several popular handgun models in a structured, controlled environment. Example models may include the Sig Sauer P365, Glock 19, Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 Compact, Kimber R7 Mako, Shadow Systems MR920, and similar options.

If you are considering a specific handgun not listed, notify the instructor after registration. Special requests are subject to availability and may require a separate range rental fee, depending on the range and firearm requested.

Course Format Duration: 1 hour Classroom safety briefing followed by supervised live-fire Instructor-guided, low-pressure learning environment Firearms, Ammo & Fees Available calibers: 9mm and .38 Special Firearm rentals included when available Some special firearm requests may incur a separate rental fee charged by the range Ammunition included (up to 50 rounds of 9mm and 10 rounds of .38 Special) Range fees included Additional ammunition available for purchase

Important Notes This is an introductory experience, not a marksmanship or advanced shooting course. The focus is safety, comfort, and familiarity to support continued training.

The cost of this course may be applied toward the RUNA Protector Program if enrollment occurs within 30 days of attendance.
