This session is not a handgun training class, instructional course, or beginner lesson. Instructors will provide only minimal safety oversight and basic range commands. .
Requirements and Recommendations Prior experience is strongly recommended.
Applicants should already possess basic handgun handling and shooting skills before attempting the LTC shooting qualification.
This includes safe gun handling, loading/unloading, clearing malfunctions, and the ability to shoot accurately enough to meet the minimum passing score.
Participants are expected to arrive prepared to demonstrate proficiency .
If you have little or no handgun experience, we highly recommend completing a separate beginner or basic handgun training course through Texas Firearms Institute before scheduling your LTC shooting qualification.
