This 2.5-hour class will introduce new female shooters to the essentials of firearm safety & use, empowering them to become responsible range-safe shooters!

What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
I am so excited to meet each of you and work with you on the safety and foundations of shooting! There is an additional $12.50 lane fee that you will pay the range the night of class. Check in starts at 6:15 and the class will promptly start at 6:30! Remember you will need the following items: · Eye Protection · Hearing Protection · Note-pad and pen strongly recommended · Semiautomatic Handgun (If you don't have one, please notify me so I will have a loaner for you.) No revolvers. o Handgun must be UNLOADED and in a case or range bag. · At least 25 rounds of ammo for your handgun. (Target ammo is preferred.) RECOMMENDED ATTIRE: Short sleeve or long sleeve shirt, High collared or neckline shirt. No low-cut tops/V-necks! Long pants/covered legs recommended Closed-toe shoes are required, ball caps are recommended. We will start off in the classroom for some foundation information then move to the range for dry-fire and live fire practice.
