FIRST SHOTS

First Shots is the perfect starting point for new shooters who want to safely learn the basics of firearms ownership and shooting in a comfortable, supportive environment. Whether your interest is personal protection, recreational shooting, or simply learning a new skill, this course is designed to build confidence through safe, hands-on instruction.

This beginner-friendly training program covers essential firearms safety, firearm types, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, and practical range instruction. Courses are available in Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun platforms.

The program is divided into four 2-hour modules for a total of 8 hours of instruction, including:

Firearm Safety & Handling Firearms & Ammunition Fundamentals of Marksmanship Practical Shooting At SYG Tactical Training, our goal is to provide a safe, relaxed, and professional learning experience that helps students develop confidence, responsibility, and practical shooting skills.

This course is also available to children ages 10 and older when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Course cost is $40 per module plus a $15 range fee for the range module.
