My Biography
My name is Lorraine and I am a firearms instructor who is passionate about safety and preparedness. I believe that everyone should have the skills and knowledge they need to keep themselves and their loved ones safe, which is why I work to teach people of all experience levels how to use firearms responsibly and effectively.
As a woman in the male-dominated world of firearms training, I am especially committed to helping women feel more comfortable and confident with firearms. That's why I strive to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere in all of my classes, so that everyone feels welcome and encouraged to learn.
Whether you're a seasoned gun owner looking to sharpen your skills or a complete beginner who has never held a firearm before, I am here to help. My goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to protect yourself and your family, while also helping you develop the confidence and peace of mind that comes with being prepared. This course will help you develop a non-lethal personal protection plan that encompasses awareness, avoidance, and preparation, so that you are less likely to find yourself in a situation where you have no other option than to use a firearm. We will combine PowerPoint presentations along with discussions and some fun, hands-on activities to help you incorporate situational awareness and response into your daily life.
This class is an introductory class aimed at beginner pistol shooters or those who recently purchased their first gun or are looking to purchase their first gun.
The class will include one hour of instruction on gun safety in the home, what to expect at the range, how to operate and safely handle a pistol as well as proper shooting techniques. This will be followed by one hour of live fire practice.
Students will bring their own firearms and ammunition or rent one of ours for an additional $10 fee (plus ammunition cost). Eye and ear protection and target.
Cost for the class is set at $95 per student. The additional $10 rental fee and any ammo purchased will be paid for upon arrival to the class.

Students will bring their own firearms or rent one of ours for an additional $10 fee. Any ammo purchased and gun rental will be paid for upon arrival to the class. This is a class for children ages 7-13 years of age and is targeted at children with little to no experience with firearms. In this class students will receive instruction on AIRSOFT PISTOLS (not live firearms) and learn the fundamentals of firearm safety and basic pistol skills. The class will include classroom time where students will learn the basics of firearm safety, what to do if they encounter firearms in the home and the basics of firearm handling. Students will then complete shooting on airsoft pistols to demonstrate the skills they have learned under the close supervision of certified instructors. Fee will cover tuition, targets, airsoft pistol and ammunition as well as safety gear. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times during the class. Please arrive by 5:15 pm for check in.
This is a 2 -hour course that provides instruction on the Legal Definitions of Reasonable and Deadly Force; the Use of Force Continuum; the Four Pillars for the Justification of the Use of Deadly Force, The Difference Between Defense Inside Your Home vs. Outside Your Home, the Defense of Property and How The Court May Determine Your Innocence or Guilt.
