This Course includes Self-Defense Firearm Basics: Clearing Semi-Automatics and Revolvers, Additional Safety Considerations, Double Action v Single Action, Semi-Automatics and Revolvers Explained, Handgun Sizes & Weights, Pros/Cons of Handgun Options, Ammunition & Ballistic Basics; and (3) Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Explaining Proper Grip, Stance, Sight Picture, Trigger Control and Shot Delivery.
Cancellation Policy: Due to the high demand for Firearm Trainers LLC classes, there are no refunds. However, we do allow students to transfer to a future date of the same class when possible.

Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
For the safety of all students, electronic hearing protection is required at all times. No exceptions. Pocket pistols are prohibited. Students should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of class. The registration fee includes use of a rental pistol for students who have not yet purchased a pistol. Please wear long pants with pockets, closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals), and a crew neck (T-shirt) or button-up shirt (no low-cut neck lines). There are no prerequisite classes required to take this course. USCCA materials/techniques are taught in this course by USCCA Certified Instructors. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a USCCA Completion Certificate. Classes with fewer than 3 students registered will be cancelled and you will be moved into the next available class opening automatically with notice to you. Please note that if you are unable to make the following scheduled class, you will be moved into a future scheduled class date/time of your choosing. No refunds will be issued.
