This session includes: specialized range training based on student goals.

Students should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of class and report to the training classroom.

This course is Step 2 of 3 in our foundational pistol training series. We strongly recommend Pistol 1 or equivalent before you attend Pistol 2. The student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire and unload a pistol.

Course includes: (1) Pistol Selection Considerations; (2) Support Equipment; (3) Shooting Basics - the Importance of Proper Grip, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Stance, Trigger Control and follow through Presentation of the pistol from the Holster to the Target and Safe Recovery Back to the Holster; (4) Administrative and In-Service Loading and Unloading Techniques; (5) Static Shooting Positions; and (6) Cleaning and Maintenance.

This course is Step 3 of 3 in our foundational pistol training series. We strongly recommend Pistol 1 and Pistol 2 or equivalent before you attend Pistol 3. The student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to safely load, fire and unload a pistol.

Course includes: (1) Firearm Safety; (2) Foundational Skills; (3) Status Checks; (4) Reloads with Retention (Tactical Reload); (5) Malfunction Clearance; (6) Sight Pictures; (7) Multiple Targets; and (8) Movement.

You must be a graduate of Pistol 1, Pistol 2 and Pistol 3 before joining a Pistol 4 class. Everyday Concealed Carry Training is a 1-hour course designed to provide you with the skills necessary to safely and efficiently draw from concealment. You don't want your first time drawing from concealment to be in a high-stress, defensive encounter. This is a fast-paced class with lots of repetition to build repeatable skills.

You must be a graduate of Pistol 1, Pistol 2 and Pistol 3 before joining a Pistol 4 class. Speed and Accuracy Training is a 1-hour course designed to provide you with the skills necessary to safely and efficiently draw and shoot your pistol at a high rate of speed accurately. Using a shot timer, among other devices, we will build your skills to draw, acquire your target and shoot faster than you ever have in the past. You don't want your first time drawing fast to be during a high-stress situation. This is a fast-paced class with lots of repetition to build repeatable skills.

This class is for intermediate level students who would like to become a certified NRA Range Safety Officer. The NRA Range Safety Officer program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. To be come an NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you posses the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, conducting and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. Topics include: range inspections and rules, rang safety briefing, emergency procedures, firearm stoppages and malfunctions and the standard operating procedure.

Let's shoot! Wednesday Nights @ Roll Call is a 1.5 hour Pro 2A community building shoot. The evening starts diagnosing your areas of improvement, then goes into a one-hour, live fire range experience followed by a gun cleaning or other activity. Come and join us, meet like-minded new friends, shoot under lite instruction and have fun!

Often times, we will clean pistols after Wednesday Night Shoot, so don’t forget to bring your cleaning supplies! Your cleaning supplies should include: a pistol cleaning mat, disposable nitrile gloves, a bore snake for your caliber pistol, Type-III tapered and regular tipped double sided cotton swabs, an old cloth, an old toothbrush and an all-in-one cleaner and lubricant in a spray bottle.

PA residents with a PA License to Carry Firearms are eligible to obtain an Utah Concealed Firearm Permit so long as they meet certain Utah requirements. The Utah permit provides you with concealed carry reciprocity with some states not covered by your PA permit.

In order to obtain the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit, applicants are required to complete an in-person class with an Utah certified firearm instructor before submitting an application. Firearm Trainers LLC has an Utah certified firearm instructor who teaches this class.

Please do not bring a firearm and/or ammunition to this class.

Please note the following CLASS REQUIREMENTS:

1. Please bring a check made payable to the "Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification" to class in the amount listed on the above website for non-residents ($63.25), but double check who the check should be made payable to and the check amount on the website before making out the check since this information is subject to change.
2. Please bring a photocopy of your Driver's License (on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper).
3. You must have a concealed carry permit from your home state (with Utah reciprocity) before applying for a non-resident Utah permit. Please bring a photocopy of your home state's concealed carry permit (on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper). PA has reciprocity with Utah.
4. Please bring a recently taken color Passport photo of you with you to class.

We will provide you with the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Application for completion during class in the presence of your instructor. You cannot complete the application in advance of class. We will also provide the fingerprint card.

We are certified by MPOETC to conduct this training and qualification. Targets, range time and all paperwork are included.

You must bring three magazines to the qualification.

Please note that if you pass the qualification with a semi-automatic pistol, you will be qualified on semi-automatic pistol. If you pass the qualification with a revolver, you will be qualified on revolvers. Each qualification is $100 per qualification. If you want to qualify on semi-automatics and revolvers, the course fee is $200 and you MUST register for two seats in the class at $100 per registration.

On July 22, 2004, Congress enacted the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA). The intent of LEOSA was to exempt qualified current and retired law enforcement officers from state laws prohibiting the carrying of concealed weapons while traveling from state to state. LEOSA requires that the retired law enforcement officer have a photographic identification card which identifies them as a retired law enforcement officer. LEOSA also requires that the retired law enforcement officer maintain an annual qualification with their firearm.

In response to LEOSA, on December 13, 2005, the Governor signed Act 79, the Retired Law Enforcement Identification Act (RLEIA). RLEIA tasked the Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) with establishing uniform identification and qualification cards for retired law enforcement officers in PA and a method of conducting annual firearms qualifications for such individuals.

The goal of the SAFTEA's “Defensive Shotgun 1” course is to provide the student with a solid foundation in basic knowledge of shotgun safety, various types of shotgun, an understanding of ammunition and how it functions, shooting fundamentals and an introduction to defensive shooting skills.

A person new to the use of a firearm for personal defense typically has a broad range of questions and is faced with learning a number of skills that are critical in the use of a firearm – in this case a shotgun – to defend themselves, their family or someone in their charge. Defensive Shotgun 1 is specifically designed to provide a person new to shotguns the opportunity to gain that knowledge and learn those skills.

Topics include but are not limited to Safe handling of your firearm, Safe Storage of your firearm and ammunition, Basic components of a shotgun, Types and Operation of shotguns including pump, semi-automatic, break-open, etc., Working With A Natural Defensive Stance, Integrating The Color Code Into Your Life, Finding Your Balance of Speed and Precision, Clearing Common Stoppages, Progressive Shooting Drills, Definition of Cover and Concealment, Use of Cover, Shooting From Low and High Barricades, Selecting a Shotgun and Ammunition and Cleaning and Maintain your Shotguns.

Bring your bike! How do you conceal carry on a motorcycle? Are you ready for a violent encounter?

During this 1-hour program students and instructors discuss the various options that you have to conceal carry your firearms on a motorcycle.

Students will walk through the various on body and off body conceal carry options. Our instructors will discuss your options when faced with a violent encounter while riding your motorcycle.

This range training session starts with FTLLC instructor candidates learning more about FTLLC, our safety protocols, teaching techniques and how to become a great firearm instructor. We then move into shooting fundamentals and range time. Instructor candidates are challenged to go beyond their comfort zones and become great shooters over time at distances out to 25 yards.

Students should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of class and report to the training classroom.

This class provides FTLLC instructor candidates who have become USCCA certified instructors an opportunity to practice presenting the USCCA classroom portion to FTLLC Lead Instructors.

FTLLC Lead Instructors will provide tips and tricks for FTLLC instructor candidates to improve their skills and gain the confidence needed to organize, teach and manage a class on their own.

This class provides FTLLC instructor candidates who have become NRA certified instructors an opportunity to practice presenting the NRA classroom portion to FTLLC Lead Instructors.

FTLLC Lead Instructors will provide tips and tricks for FTLLC instructor candidates to improve their skills and gain the confidence needed to organize, teach and manage a class on their own.

This Course includes Kids Firearm Basics: Clearing Semi-Automatics, Additional Safety Considerations, Double Action v Single Action, Semi-Automatics Explained, Ammunition Basics; and (3) Fundamentals Explaining Proper Grip, Stance, Sight Picture, Trigger Control and Shot Delivery.

The USCCA’s AR-15 Fundamentals course is designed to introduce responsible gun owners to the safe handling, proper maintenance, and effective use of AR-15-style rifles and to bring awareness to the usefulness of this platform in the context of civilian home defense and defense of life. Classroom instruction covers topics such as basic AR-15 nomenclature and function, cleaning and maintenance, and accessorizing the AR-15. Live-range instruction will provide students with an understanding of how to safely and effectively operate their AR-15, confirm zero, and engage in practical and cumulative drills.

You will shoot the qualification, just like the pros! You will be scored, but you won't receive an actual qualification. If you're looking to test your shooting skills, Qualify like a Pro, is for you.

Join us for an unforgettable three-day PA Whitetail Hunting Experience in the heart of Northeastern Pennsylvania on 53 acres of private hunting land. The experience begins Friday afternoon with scouting, reviewing terrain and deer movement, and establishing hunt locations based on current conditions, wind, sign, and strategy. Saturday and Sunday are dedicated to hunting, giving participants two full days to experience the challenge, excitement, and tradition of Pennsylvania whitetail hunting. This is a true fair-chase hunting experience, and there is absolutely no guarantee that you will see or harvest a deer — that uncertainty is part of what makes the hunt authentic and rewarding. Participants should plan to stay in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area, which provides convenient access to the property and a wide range of lodging and dining options. Lodging, meals, and transportation to and from the property are not provided.
