I have been working the front counter at a fantastic outdoor gun range since 2019. What started as a part time job during the summer quickly escalated into a fulltime job, changing the way I live my everyday life. During the year 2020, there was a souring number of new shooters who felt threatened with the ever-changing environment. Some people were even scared of what was happening, feeling the need to buy a firearm for the first time. Seeing the rise in new shooters I learned that shooting can be stressful and scary at times, but also can give you confidence. I joined USCCA this year as an instructor. My goals as an instructor are as listed: First, to invite more people to learn more about training. Secondly, encourage people to learn material that can better protect themselves and the ones they love. Third, to become a tool that shooters can use to better gain confidence with themselves and with their firearm.
