The proper attitude, knowledge and skills will help you become better able to protect yourself and family in a life threatening situation. As a USCCA Instructor, NRA Handgun Instructor, a C.L.E.E.T certified Oklahoma SDA Instructor, and Firearms instructor in Texas since 1999, Leonard encourages each individual to know the law, how to safely and effectively use a firearm with speed and accuracy.

Leonard has been involved in firearms training as a weapons and tactics instructor since 1999. He has been a competitive shooter with the United States Carbine Association, the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) expert rating in the Stock Service Pistol Division and an IDPA Safety Officer Instructor from 1995-2015. In 2005, he became very active in the Executive Protection and Private Security field in various capacities throughout the states of Texas and Oklahoma. His duties have included serving as a one man protection detail and as Team Leader of protection details as large as 115 agents for high profile clients, celebrities, major events and worked on a high profile team protecting a mega church pastors and their family members.

Leonard has trained with some of the greatest instructors in the Nation in firearms, empty hands, edged weapons and close quarters combat. He has developed a great friendship with many in the firearms instructing/industry and field/tactical medicine training. His greatest lesson learned is to be a great instructor you must first be a great student. You never quit learning, no matter how good you think you are.

Leonard’s goal is to provide quality handgun training and defensive education to those who are willing and ready to learn. In the near future, the plan is to bring in some of those great instructors, his friends and mentors, to share their knowledge and skills with individuals who believe in the right to protect themselves and their loved ones.
