My Biography

William Ortiz has been a firearms training instructor for over 20 years and proudly served in the United States Army, earning his veteran status with multiple deployments.

Since 2017, he has been an NRA-certified instructor in Certified Pistol, Certified Home Firearms Safety, Personal Protection in the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, and Range Safety Officer. In 2024, William became a USCCA-certified instructor. He has trained countless individuals to ensure their safety and confidence

Beyond teaching, William remains a lifelong student of the craft, always seeking to refine his skills. He actively competes in IDPA and USPSA, which keeps him sharp and engaged within the shooting community.

He takes pride in working with shooters of all experience levels and believes that training paired with consistency are the key components to success.
