What You'll Learn
Learn When it’s Justified to Protect Yourself, Your Family and Your Home under Ohio Law You'll understand the conditions that need to be present to use ANY level of force, and when it’s justified to protect yourself, your family, and your home. • When to fight and when NOT to (you must know what “Reasonable Use of Force” is) • You’ll learn the steps you need to take to properly and justifiably defend your home • You'll understand how a Prosecutor evaluates a Self-Defense case so you can be legally prepared • Learn the importance – and pitfalls - of using Less-Than-Lethal force alternatives Parents, Teachers, Concerned Citizens, Business Professionals, Churchgoers, and anyone who wants to keep themselves and others safe!
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Legal Use of Force
In this lesson, Michael Martin will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor.
