What You'll Learn
The InHER Piece Ladies' Shooting Club is the official women’s outreach program of E3 Personal Defense. We gather monthly for empowering sessions that combine education, skill-building, and sisterhood. Each meeting features a unique topic, special guest, or hands-on concept designed to elevate your knowledge, confidence, and capabilities.
Meetings include a brief educational presentation followed by structured range time. Whether you're brand new to firearms or an experienced shooter, you’ll find a welcoming space to grow, connect, and train.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, all ladies participating in live-fire activities must have completed, at a minimum, a basic safety or marksmanship course before the event. Our monthly range meetings are themed, educational gatherings—not formal firearms training. While all experience levels are welcome to attend our educational presentations, live-fire range exercises are designed for those who understand firearms safety and have foundational shooting skills. If you are new to firearms or have not yet taken a course, we encourage you to register for the Introduction to Handguns course, offered monthly through E3 Personal Defense.
Cancellation Policy: Firearm training fees are non-refundable. Payments are final, irreversible, and non-transferable (unless E3 Personal Defense cancels the course). Rescheduling may be considered only for emergencies with at least 48 hours notice. Only one transfer, if granted, is allowed per student per calendar year. "No shows" and late cancellations forfeit all transfer opportunities.
What We'll Teach
Basic
In this introduction module, Beth Alcazar introduces students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. Alcazar goes on to explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics, and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Meeting Topics: For upcoming topics and guest speakers, visit www.inherpiece.com/events. Cost: A $20 meeting fee is paid directly to our host range for each meeting. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. If you do not show up, the $20 will be considered a donation to InHER Piece and applied to cover the costs of meeting materials. What to Bring: A handgun, at least 100 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. Need Equipment? Firearms rentals and ammunition are available (cash or Venmo preferred). Open to All Women: All ladies and all experience levels are welcome! Come ready to learn, train, and build lasting bonds with an amazing community of women. We can’t wait to see you on the range! IMPORTANT: Please arrive by 3:45 to complete the check-in process. Any participant arriving after the Range Safety Brief will not be allowed to participate in live-fire activities. ***INHER PIECE IS COMMUNITY. IT DOES NOT REPLACE TRAINING.*** To ensure you are safe and successful, we require a foundation in safety and marksmanship through a formal course like our Introduction to Handguns, NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting, or a USCCA/NAAGA Basic Handgun course. Our club meetings are for practice and community, not for primary instruction.
