My Biography

Founded in 2017 with a mission to empower individuals to live safely and securely, E3 Personal Defense & Safety LLC offers expert firearms training and crime prevention programs designed for real-world application. Owner and Lead Instructor Joy Allen is a dynamic educator who blends technical expertise with heartfelt mentorship, leveraging her unique background as a pastor, counselor, and author to build lasting student confidence. As a highly credentialed USCCA and NRA Training Counselor, Rangemaster Advanced Instructor, Certified Glock Armorer, and ALERRT CRASE Instructor, Joy brings elite-level knowledge to every session. Joy is also the Founder of InHER Piece Ladies’ Shooting Clubs, one of the nation's first and most impactful women's organizations celebrating diversity and defensive confidence. As a proud USCCA partner, Joy and E3 Personal Defense are committed to equipping every student with the practical tools and mindset needed for personal protection.
