My Biography
Mike Santillanes, HMC(FMF) USN/RET For those who have no clue what all that means behind my name. It means that I retired from the US Navy as a Combat Corpsman with the US Marine Corps at the rank of Chief Petty Officer (E-7).
My job in the Navy was Hospital Corpsman (Medic) and that I was a combat Corpsman (FMF) trained in both Advanced Trauma and weapons proficiency. I served with 5th Battalion 11th Marines in Iraq.
I have US Navy Expert Pistol Qualifications in 9 mm, 45 cal, and 38 cal. I have had a Concealed Carry Permit in New Mexico for over ten years.
In my time in the Navy I was privileged to provide training in Advanced Trauma First Aid as well as assist in weapons training for junior Corpsman.
