My Biography
George is a retired military veteran with 24 years of service in the Air Force. During his career in the Air Force, he had assignments in various areas to include civil engineering, missile warning, air intelligence, flight test, range management, special operations, combat search and rescue, developmental (flight) test and operational (flight) test and evaluation. George had over 20 years’ experience performing instructor/evaluator duties in the military. He earned multiple small arms marksmanship medals with pistol and rifle.
George is currently employed by a defense contractor as a flight/simulator instructor. He provides academic, simulator and static aircraft training for Air Force special mission aircrews (combat search and rescue and special operations). George is a NRA Certified Instructor for pistol, rifle, shotgun, home firearm safety, personal protection inside the home/outside the home, and chief range safety officer. He is also a NM DPS certified concealed handgun instructor, USCCA certified instructor for concealed carry and home defense, defensive shooting fundamentals level 1/2, women’s handgun and self-defense fundamentals, and countering the mass shooter threat.
George maintains his skills and proficiency by attending training courses at least annually and also competes in 3-gun, IDPA, sporting clays, and precision rifle. He also volunteers his time and instruction to his local gun club.
