Brian Slone is the founder of Western Edge Defense, established in 2024 with the mission of delivering high-quality firearms training to students of all experience levels. A retired U.S. Navy veteran, Brian served with distinction from 2000 to 2011, gaining extensive expertise in tactical operations, firearms safety, and crisis management. His military background, combined with years of hands-on instruction, brings a unique and practical approach to personal defense and firearms education.
At Western Edge Defense, Brian offers both private and group instruction tailored to the specific goals and skill levels of each student. Whether you are new to firearms or an experienced shooter seeking to refine advanced techniques, his training programs are built on the fundamentals of safety, confidence, and real-world readiness. Courses range from basic firearm operation and safety to advanced defensive tactics and emergency response scenarios—all taught in a supportive and professional environment.
