My Biography
My name is Justin Hale, and I am a Christian, a father, a U.S. Marine veteran, and a former police officer with over 20 years of experience as an instructor. Throughout my career, I've trained U.S. Marines, service members, law enforcement officers, churches, schools, and everyday civilians. My passion lies in ensuring each student is fully prepared—not just to hit a target, but to make life-saving decisions when it matters most. At the heart of HCC Training Solutions are four guiding pillars: Faith, Honor, Courage, and Commitment.
Faith is my foundation, guiding my approach and purpose. I see a direct connection between faith and self-protection; it’s not just about defending oneself but safeguarding what God has entrusted to us—our loved ones, our communities, and our lives. Joshua 1:9 reminds us to "be strong and courageous," a verse that shapes every class I teach. I believe all things are possible through Jesus Christ, and I work to instill this conviction into each of my students.
Honor is a core principle at HCC. I strive to bring integrity, respect, and responsibility to every class and interaction. I know there are many instructors who simply focus on getting people in and out or place more emphasis on marksmanship alone. While hitting a target is essential, I believe real self-defense goes deeper. Honor, for me, means preparing you in mind, body, and spirit.
Courage isn’t just about the battlefield; it’s a quality we need in everyday life. After serving in the Marine Corps and spending over a decade in law enforcement, I’ve seen firsthand the realities of violence and conflict. My goal is to equip you with the courage to act decisively and responsibly when faced with a threat, knowing the difference between justified and unjustified use of force. When you leave my training, I want you to have the clarity to act confidently—not just with a firearm, but with mental readiness.
Commitment to my students is my top priority. I don’t just teach you how to shoot; I teach you how to survive. From the fundamentals of firearms to navigating the legalities of self-defense, my commitment is to go the extra mile, preparing you for life’s most serious challenges. I recognize that many people wrestle with questions around self-defense and faith, often wondering if protecting themselves goes against their beliefs. But self-defense, at its core, is not retaliation; it’s about preserving life and ensuring safety. Nehemiah 4:14 encourages us to “fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.” I believe God calls each of us to stand firm for those we love and to protect what matters most. This conviction drives me to offer free training to places of worship, empowering communities to be vigilant and prepared. Whether you're a seasoned gun owner or just beginning, I am here to guide you every step of the way, fostering a resilient mindset that combines skill, faith, and a readiness to protect. So, if you’re looking for an instructor who will give you not just training but a sense of purpose and confidence, I would be honored to be that person. Together, we can face any challenge with faith, honor, courage, and commitment, knowing we are never alone on this journey.
