Join us as we explore the basics of radio communications. We will discuss why and what of the different two-way radio services available and managed by the FCC in United States might be important. We'll cover some pros and cons to each, and just generally try to make some sense out of what's there.
Missouri’s permitless (often called “constitutional”) carry laws have been in effect for several years — yet confusion, misinformation, and outdated assumptions are still common.
This 1–2 hour educational seminar is designed to clearly explain what Missouri law actually allows, what it does not, and how permitless carry interacts with use-of-force laws, restricted locations, and real-world decision-making.
Whether you carry regularly, occasionally, or are simply trying to understand the law, this session is about clarity, confidence, and responsibility.
⸻
What We’ll Cover • What “permitless” and “constitutional” carry really mean in Missouri • Who can legally carry — and under what conditions • Where carry is still restricted or prohibited • How Missouri self-defense and use-of-force laws apply • Common myths and dangerous misunderstandings • Why training still matters, even without a permit requirement • Practical scenarios and Q&A
⸻
Who This Seminar Is For • New and experienced firearm owners • Missouri residents who carry (or are considering it) • Individuals who previously held a permit and want updated clarity • Anyone who wants accurate, plain-English explanations of the law
No live fire, no shooting required — this is a classroom-style legal and practical discussion.

Discover the basics of both worlds: learn the fundamentals of safe firearm handling while exploring the essentials of cigar enjoyment. This session pairs Firearm Basics with Cigars 101 for a welcoming introduction designed to build confidence, spark curiosity, and create a memorable shared experience. A premium cigar curated for the session is included.
Cigar Geography & Climate + Developing a Personal & Home Protection Plan
From the soil that nurtures the tobacco leaf to the strength that grounds personal preparedness—this session explores how deep roots shape both craftsmanship and confidence. We’ll journey through the world’s most celebrated cigar-growing regions and examine how geography, soil, and climate create distinct flavor profiles. Then, we’ll bring that same sense of structure and balance into the realm of self-reliance, guiding you through the fundamentals of developing a home and personal protection plan that fits your lifestyle.
Expect to learn: • How growing regions and microclimates influence cigar character and quality • The role of soil, altitude, and weather in tobacco cultivation • How to assess and strengthen your personal safety environment • Steps to build resilience through proactive home and personal protection planning
Whether you’re exploring the roots of the world’s finest tobaccos or cultivating resilience in your own life, this session blends knowledge, confidence, and craftsmanship into one unforgettable experience.
Flavor doesn’t start in the humidor — it starts in the soil.
Seeds of Flavor is a guided conversation about origins: how tobacco varietals, climate, soil, and human choices shape what ends up in your hand and on your palate. We’ll take a step back from brands and strength ratings to talk about why cigars taste the way they do, starting at the very beginning.
This session is intentionally relaxed and conversational. It’s not a lecture, and it’s not about showing off expertise. It’s about building context — the kind that makes every future cigar more interesting.
Alongside that discussion, we’ll also touch on a parallel idea: how thoughtful preparation and informed choices matter long before they’re ever needed. Just as flavor is shaped long before a cigar is lit, personal responsibility and self-reliance begin well before a moment of crisis. We’ll briefly connect those dots in a practical, non-alarmist way.
If you enjoy slowing down, asking good questions, and learning through shared discussion rather than instruction, you’ll feel right at home.
If you’ve ever left the range wondering “Did I actually get better today?” — this class is for you.
Novice Pistol is a focused, fundamentals-driven class designed to help new shooters (and those early in their journey) build solid marksmanship skills and, more importantly, learn how to practice with purpose.
This isn’t about dumping ammo into the backstop or chasing gear and gimmicks. It’s about learning what to practice, why it matters, and how to make every round count.
What You’ll Learn • Core pistol marksmanship fundamentals: grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and follow-through • How to diagnose common shooting problems and correct them • How to structure range time to build practical, repeatable skill • Why purposeful practice beats volume every time
Included With the Class
Every student receives a copy of Pistol Practice — “The Shooting Range Guidebook That Teaches You How to Practice.”
Built around the Pistol Practice Way, this program emphasizes: • Meaningful drills instead of random shooting • Ammo conservation without sacrificing progress • Clear performance goals and measurable improvement • Strong fundamentals that transfer to defensive use, competition, or everyday confidence
Since 2020, more than 22 million Americans have become firearm owners. No matter where you are on that path, mastery begins with fundamentals — and that’s where this class shines.
Who This Class Is For • New handgun owners • Shooters who “know the basics” but want structure and direction • Anyone who wants to leave the range better than they arrived
If you value clarity over hype and confidence built through skill, you’ll feel right at home.
Train with purpose. Practice with intent. Build skills you can rely on.
Keep your firearm reliable, safe, and ready
Owning a handgun is only half the responsibility—maintaining it properly is the other half.
This hands-on class walks you through safe, practical handgun cleaning and maintenance so you understand not just how to clean your firearm, but why it matters. Whether you carry daily, keep a handgun for home defense, or just want to take better care of what you own, this class builds confidence through understanding.
We’ll cover: • Safe unloading and handling procedures • Field stripping common handgun types • Proper cleaning tools, solvents, and lubricants • What needs cleaning vs. what doesn’t • Wear points, inspection, and function checks • Common mistakes that cause malfunctions or damage
This is not a rushed demo or a YouTube shortcut. It’s a guided, question-friendly session focused on doing things correctly—without overthinking or over-cleaning.
No prior gunsmithing experience required. If you can safely bring your unloaded handgun, you’re ready for this class.
Build confidence through care. Turn complexity into confidence.
You’ve learned the basics. Now it’s time to shoot with intention.
Intermediate Pistol is designed for shooters who have moved beyond their first range sessions and want to refine fundamentals, improve consistency, and learn how to practice effectively—not just burn ammo into the backstop.
This class begins with a focused review of marksmanship fundamentals, then builds beyond Novice Pistol to help you develop repeatable, practical shooting skills you can continue improving on your own.
What This Class Covers • Refining grip, stance, sight management, and trigger control • Diagnosing common accuracy and consistency issues • Understanding why shots go where they go • How to structure range sessions that actually build skill • Practicing with purpose instead of guesswork or volume
The Pistol Practice Way
Included with the class is a copy of Pistol Practice: The Shooting Range Guidebook That Teaches You How to Practice.
Pistol Practice is built around a simple idea: fundamentals matter more than gear, speed, or tactics. The program uses thoughtful drills and meaningful targets to help shooters: • Conserve ammunition • Train with intention • Build confidence through measurable improvement
Whether your goals are defensive readiness, recreational shooting, or simply becoming more competent with your handgun, learning how to practice is the key to long-term progress.
Who This Class Is For • Graduates of Novice Pistol or shooters with basic experience • Gun owners who want to improve accuracy and consistency • Shooters tired of “spray and pray” range sessions • Anyone who wants a clear path forward in their training
In a world full of distractions—new gear, tech, and tactical noise—this class brings the focus back to what actually works: solid fundamentals and purposeful practice.
If you’re ready to stop guessing and start improving, this class is for you.
This 8-hour course meets all Missouri requirements for concealed carry permitting. You’ll receive clear instruction on current state firearms law (including permitless and constitutional carry), legal use of force, safe handgun handling, storage, transportation, and situational awareness. The class includes supervised live-fire qualification at Ozark Thunder Indoor Shooting Range. All materials, handouts, and certificate processing are provided. Ideal for first-time carriers, new gun owners, or anyone wanting a confident, up-to-date refresher.
Must be eligible under Missouri and federal law and bring valid photo ID. Students provide their own handgun and ammunition (rentals available at the range).
