My Biography
Good Enough Isn’t a Defense.
My name is Donnie Edington, and I founded Edington Enhanced Carry because personal protection is a lifelong journey, not a one-day class. I don’t just teach the "how"—I study the "why." The Edington Advantage
What sets my training apart is a deep-rooted understanding of the tools we carry. As a professional gunsmithing student at MGS Trade School, I bring a technical level of firearm maintenance and mechanical knowledge to the classroom that most instructors simply can't offer. If you have a question about how your gear works (or why it isn't working), I have the answer. My Teaching Philosophy
I know that walking into a firearm course can be intimidating. That’s why I’ve built my reputation on a relaxed, down-to-earth, and fun environment. * Zero Intimidation: Whether you’re a first-time shooter or a seasoned permit holder, you will never be singled out.
Confidence Built Here: My goal is to ensure you leave feeling empowered, excited, and legally prepared.
Mobile & Comprehensive Training
I am a mobile instructor, meaning I bring elite-level training directly to you through the Mississippi Mobile Training Tour. I specialize in the Mississippi Enhanced Carry permit, helping you unlock the full legal protections and carrying privileges provided by MS law. Certifications & Credentials
USCCA Certified Instructor: Concealed Carry, Home Defense, Basic Handgun, First Aid, & Countering the Mass Shooter Threat.
Multi-State Certified: MS (Enhanced), LA, and FL.
Technical Expertise in Progress
I am currently enrolled in the Advanced Gunsmithing program at MGS Trade School. This means I bring a "mechanic’s eye" to the range. While we work on your shooting fundamentals, I can also provide insights into your firearm's internal cycle of operation, maintenance, and reliability that standard instructors might miss.
Safety & Advocacy: USCCA Range Safety Officer, Red Cross CPR/AED Certified, and dedicated 2A Ambassador.
