Welcome to Take Down Tactical! This is our all woman's self defense carry course where we provide a welcoming, comfortable, and productive class environment. Welcome to Fundamentals of First AID! We will teach you the skills and confidence in order to assist in a crisis. There is more in surviving a medical emergency, an attack, a mass shooting, or a mass crisis event. We will give you the knwoledge and the tools to keep you, your friends, and your family safe in situations like these. Come join us for class and learn. Whether you’re new to firearms or have years of experience, this hands-on cleaning and maintenance class is designed to help you feel confident, safe, and knowledgeable about caring for your firearm. In a relaxed and welcoming environment, we’ll walk step-by-step through proper cleaning techniques, routine maintenance, and safe handling practices.

You’ll learn how to disassemble and reassemble your firearm (as appropriate), identify key components, choose the right cleaning tools and products, and understand how regular maintenance improves reliability and longevity. Questions are encouraged, and no prior experience is required—this class is judgment-free and paced to meet everyone where they are. (Basic knowledge of how to disassemble YOUR firearm is required)

Our goal is to make firearm care approachable and easy to understand, so you leave feeling comfortable, capable, and confident in maintaining your equipment safely. All skill levels are welcome, and safety is always our top priority.

Welcome to Introduction to Handguns, a beginner-friendly course designed for anyone interested in learning the safe, responsible, and confident use of handguns. Whether you’re brand new or looking to build a stronger foundation, this class provides a supportive and professional environment where questions are encouraged and safety is always the top priority.

In this course, we’ll cover the fundamentals of handguns from the ground up. Students will learn proper firearm safety, handgun parts and function, and how to safely break down and reassemble a handgun for routine maintenance. We’ll also guide you through basic cleaning and care to help ensure reliability and longevity of your firearm.

Our instruction continues with shooting fundamentals, including grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and safe handling practices. Once these basics are established, we’ll take the learning to the range, where students will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned through live-fire exercises under close instructor supervision.

By the end of the class, students will have a solid understanding of handgun operation, maintenance, and fundamental shooting skills—along with increased confidence and a strong emphasis on safety and responsible ownership.
