Born and raised in Grygla, MN Luke went to tech school in Berrien Springs, MI. After working for a couple years as an auto mechanic, he joined the Army in 2003. He served in South Korea at Camp Casey and in Iraq at LSA Anaconda during operation OIF. He got out of the Army with the rank of Sergeant. Luke has been shooting and hunting from a young age, but dove into the world of Concealed Carry After the Army. He decided to become an instructor. He took several instructor classes from the NRA, the USCCA and the most challenging one yet, Rangemaster by Tom Givens. Luke has now also passed the Advanced Rangemaster Instructor Certification program where he was awarded the Top Gun award. This goes to the instructor with the highest score on the shooting qualification for the class. He also continuously reads books from Tom Givens, Andrew Branca and others to further his knowledge on self defense, legalities of self defense to include when to use lethal force and shooting instruction.
